India Cares was born in 2020, in the darkest hours of the pandemic — when hospital beds ran out, oxygen cylinders disappeared, and ordinary citizens found themselves begging the internet to save their loved ones.
Some of us answered those tweets. Others of us were saved by those who did. Somewhere in that exchange of desperation and kindness, a movement took shape.
Today, we are doctors and students, homemakers and retirees, engineers and artists — an invisible family stitched together across cities, states, and time zones by a single belief:
